Sage Data & Analytics – Powerful BI Tool Coming for Sage 100 (MAS 90/200)
The business intelligence (BI) software market is one of the fastest-growing software sectors. In 2020, 54% of enterprises cited BI as critical or very important to their ongoing initiatives. Small businesses are jumping in too — 46% use BI as a core element of their business strategy. For many companies, though, BI is costly and complex to implement and use. Sage is releasing a BI solution that promises to make BI accessible to all Sage 100 users. It’s called Sage Data and Analytics.
Sage Data and Analytics was officially released this month. While the solution is new for Sage 100, it’s been available for Sage X3 users for years. The solution is powered by Zap BI and configured and optimized specifically for Sage 100. Because it’s a BI solution designed to work with Sage 100, you’ll have broad functionality right out of the box. Pre-built industry analytics, KPIs, and calculations accessed via role-based dashboards will deliver immediate insight into your Sage 100 data.
Simply speaking, Business Intelligence tools can perform two broad tasks. The first is to gather and warehouse data from one or more applications. The second is to provide a reporting tool to help you analyze the data. Some BI applications perform both. Some perform just one. Sage Data and Analytics performs both.
The solution isn’t limited to Sage 100 data. You can combine data from other applications, like CRM or an industry-specific software you may be using. This makes Sage Data and Analytics a true enterprise BI solution capable of scaling with your business.
