Sage Intacct 2022 Release 4 Brings Much To Be Thankful For
While some of us mark the changing seasons by the weather, others track them through Sage Intacct’s quarterly releases (I know, we need to get out more). ‘Tis now the season for Sage Intacct 2022 Release 4 — and there’s some good stuff inside. Here’s a highlight of what’s new. You can also get highlights from our on-demand webinar.
Sage Intacct Planning
Release 4 incorporates two of the most requested enhancements to Sage Intacct Planning: 1) Grid Entry so you can enter and adjust data within a grid (Excel-style) format, and 2) Statistical Accounts to allow you to import or create non-monetary accounts for use in driver-based modeling.
Lease Accounting Automation
This is an entirely new module to manage lessee side lease tracking and accounting automation for operating leases. Use Lease Accounting Automation to centralize and manage your lease contracts, automate accounting recognition, tie lease liabilities to right-of-use assets, and ensure compliance with ASC-842. This module is available to Early Adopters, so let us know if you are interested.
Sage Intacct Payroll powered by ADP
Yes, you read that right. You can now seamlessly integrate Payroll and HCM with Sage Intacct through ADP.
Centralized compliance documentation
Compliance is a moving target, and missing the target isn’t an option. That’s why Sage is introducing some changes in Release 4 that will provide faster access to the compliance insights you need to remain in control. Within the Sage Intacct Help Center, Sage has added a “Compliance” menu option that centralizes information on compliance best practices, helps you identify preventative and detective control options, and offers best practice guidance.
Embedded user training options
To help new users get their sea legs and existing users tackle new tasks, Sage is introducing embedded training throughout Sage Intacct. There’s a 2-minute Welcome Tour, feature walk throughs that pop up at the right time, and quick access to help topics, videos, and new on-demand courses.
Sage Intelligent Time enhancements
If you’re not familiar, Sage Intelligent Time is an AI-powered timesheet application that facilitates faster and more accurate time tracking. Sage Intacct 2022 Release 4 adds new capability to this smart application. For one, it’s now available with Grant Tracking to meet nonprofits’ needs. For another, the whole application has been fine-tuned for “greater performance.” For those of you with an international workforce, Sage Intelligent Time is now available in Canada, South Africa, and Australia.
Construction Payroll
Sensing a theme here? Sage Intacct Construction Payroll was built to manage the complexities of construction payroll, reducing cost overruns, and improving the accuracy of future estimates. This is available as an Early Adopter option only. Let us know if you’d like to be considered.
Sage Estimating Integration
Sage Estimating has been a leader in the space for decades, and now it’s an integrated option for Sage Intacct users. This one is also available to Early Adopters, so let us know if you’re interested.
