Sage 100cloud 2020: Five New Features To Look Forward To
We know you join us in looking forward to seeing what’s new in each new release of Sage 100cloud. Sage is making good on its commitment to listen to customers and business partners, delivering a consistent stream of functionality that adds real value to the solution. The first release of Sage 100cloud in 2020 will be no exception, there’s some good stuff coming! Here we’ve identified our top five new features (as always, features are subject to change).
1) Expanded name fields, because the world is getting smaller, but names are getting bigger.
To accommodate, the customer and vendor name and contact name fields are growing from 30 to 50 characters.
2) Multiple POs on a single invoice, because this happens a lot.
It’s quite common to receive a vendor invoice associated with multiple purchase orders, and with this release you can expeditiously accommodate such a situation—multiple POs on a single invoice. We’ve been waiting for this one for a while, how about you?
3) Reverse an AP check run, because sometimes you need to run it back.
This version will allow you to swiftly reverse an accounts payable check run. When the rare occasion arises that you need to do such a thing, you’ll feel good knowing you can accomplish it easily and accurately.
4) eInvoicing with Paya—click to pay is coming your way.
This one may be our favorite! Sage has announced that eInvoicing will be included in this release of Sage 100cloud. As you email your invoices to clients, they’ll see a friendly “click to pay” button, linking them to a secure portal where they can log in and pay your invoices. It’s not only convenient for your clients, it’s convenient for you as the payment is automatically recorded in Sage 100cloud. Paya is the payment processor powering the back end of this new seamless process.
5) Support for CCPA, because you may have customers in the sunshine state.
This release includes support to help you comply with the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA). Details are short, but we know it will it will include the ability to de-identify personal customer information.
It’s important to know that these features will only be available to Sage 100cloud customers. If you are still one of the few on a perpetual license, it’s time to make the switch to a subscription. Contact us – we’re here to help.
